How to sell your car

1. Create a free account
Choose Individual to sell your own car, or Dealer if you sell cars as a business. -
2. Add your car's details
Enter the registration to fill in the make, model and specification, then add the price, mileage and your postcode. M1 Hub can write the description for you. -
3. Add a walkaround video
Record and edit it in the M1 Hub app, or upload a finished video on the website. Every listing needs one. -
4. Publish and talk to buyers
Your listing goes live to buyers across the UK. They message you on M1 Hub with questions or to arrange a viewing. -
5. Agree the sale
You agree the price and payment with the buyer directly. M1 Hub doesn't take a cut.
What it costs

No fee to list
Posting a listing doesn't use credits, and there's no commission when your car sells. -
30 days free
New accounts get a 30-day free listing period. Buyer clicks on your listings are free during it. -
Pay per buyer click
After that, one click credit is used each time a buyer in the UK opens one of your listings. You need at least one credit to post a listing. -
Listings stay up
Your listing stays up until you take it down. If your credits run out it's paused, not deleted.
Why sell with a video
Photos show a car from its best angles. A walkaround video shows buyers the whole car, inside and out, the way they'd see it in person — so the people who message you have already had a proper look.
In the M1 Hub app, buyers can also ask you for a live walkaround on a video call before they travel to see the car.

Is it free to sell a car on M1 Hub?
Creating an account and posting a listing are free, and there's no commission. New accounts get a 30-day free listing period. After that, each buyer click on a listing uses one click credit, which you buy in advance.
Can I sell my car privately on M1 Hub?
Yes. Create an Individual account to sell your own car. Private sellers and dealers list their cars the same way.
Do I need a video to sell my car?
Yes. Every listing on M1 Hub has a walkaround video. You can record and edit it in the M1 Hub app, or upload a finished video on the website.
How long does my listing stay up?
Until you take it down. Listings on M1 Hub don't expire. If your click credits run out, your listings are paused until you add more.
How do buyers contact me?
Buyers message you on M1 Hub to ask questions or arrange a viewing. In the app, they can also ask for a live walkaround on a video call.
How do I get paid when my car sells?
You agree the price and how you'll be paid directly with the buyer. M1 Hub doesn't handle payment for cars and doesn't take a cut of the sale.
Can I sell a motorbike or a van on M1 Hub?
Yes. You can list cars, motorbikes and vans.
Where are the buyers?
Across the UK. M1 Hub is a UK marketplace, and buyers can search for cars by distance from their own postcode.
